Welcome to Daffodil Travel. By booking a tour with us or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.


1. Booking Confirmation

All tour bookings must be confirmed with:

  • An advance payment of 5% of the total tour cost

  • A copy of the confirmed air ticket

  • Confirmation at least 14 days prior to arrival

Once the advance payment and required documents are received, your tour dates, vehicle, accommodations, and services will be officially reserved.

The remaining balance must be paid before or at the start of the tour, as agreed. Cash payments are accepted only in LKR, USD, or EURO.


2. Payments

We accept payments via:

  • Bank transfer

  • Online payment methods

  • Cash payment before the tour begins

Tour prices may be quoted in EURO or LKR, depending on the package. Any bank transfer fees or related charges must be covered by the client.


3. Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your tour booking, the following conditions apply:

  • Cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a partial refund.

  • Cancellations made within the last 7 days before arrival may be subject to cancellation charges.

  • No-shows or cancellations after the tour has started are non-refundable.

Refund eligibility depends on hotel policies, third-party services, and prior commitments.


4. Changes to the Itinerary

We aim to follow the confirmed itinerary as planned. However, changes may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Road or traffic situations

  • Government regulations

  • Natural events or other unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, we will arrange suitable alternatives of similar standard whenever possible.


5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Holding valid passports and necessary visas

  • Obtaining recommended travel insurance

  • Complying with local laws and regulations

  • Respecting Sri Lankan culture, traditions, and heritage sites


6. Health & Safety

The safety of our guests is a priority. Clients must follow all instructions provided by drivers, guides, and tour representatives, especially during safaris, hiking, water activities, and adventure excursions.


7. Liability

Daffodil Travel is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by airlines or transport providers

  • Accidents or injuries during third-party activities

  • Natural disasters or force majeure events

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Circumstances beyond our control

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance.


8. Accommodation & Transport

Hotels and vehicles are arranged according to the selected tour package. In rare situations where a confirmed hotel is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a similar hotel of equal standard and category.


9. Privacy Policy

All personal information provided by clients will be treated as confidential and used solely for booking, communication, and service-related purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary for service arrangements.


10. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a tour with Daffodil Travel or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

We understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for both our clients and our company.


1. Cancellation by Client

  • Cancellations made well in advance of the tour start date may be eligible for a partial refund.

  • Cancellations made closer to the tour date may be subject to cancellation charges, depending on hotel and service provider policies.

  • Cancellations made after the tour has commenced are non-refundable.

Refund amounts, if applicable, will be calculated after deducting confirmed expenses and third-party charges.


2. No-Show Policy

If a client fails to arrive on the scheduled tour date without prior written notice, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided.


3. Changes to Bookings

If you need to modify your travel dates or tour arrangements, please inform us as early as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate requested changes, subject to availability and any applicable price adjustments.


4. Cancellation or Modification by the Company

In rare circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, or other unforeseen events beyond our control, we may need to cancel or modify the tour.
